TRIBAL LAW
Native American Law
Native American Law has two distinct areas of law: 1) Indian Law and 2) Tribal Law. Indian Law deals with the relationship between Native American tribes and the federal and/or state governments. On the other hand, Tribal Law deals with the constitutions, codes, and cases of individual sovereign nation tribes.Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians Webpage
