Dena Horvath


Dena Horvath is a Traverse City native and a graduate of Traverse City St. Francis High School. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then went on to receive her Juris Doctor Degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011.

Dena has had the opportunity to work alongside Craig Elhart in many civil and criminal cases. At her first trial, Dena sat second-chair in People v Schwander, a capital homicide case. Since that date, Dena has worked on numerous divorce, custody, personal injury, felony, and misdemeanor cases. The firmís name was changed to Elhart & Horvath, P.C. when Dena became a shareholder on January 1st, 2013.

Dena's true passion is the law and she enjoys the personability of working with clients.
